
Uma menina me mostrou um desenho. Com apenas oito anos, já sabia o que eu havia esquecido de saber. No papel, uma árvore brotava em um prédio abandonado. “É a minha cidade daqui a dez anos.” Suas mãos pequenas seguravam o lápis como quem segura uma semente.
Fiquei com aquele desenho entalado na garganta, como se fosse um osso que eu precisasse engolir para entender alguma coisa sobre mim mesma. A criança via brotos onde eu via apenas a ferida do concreto. Talvez porque ela ainda habite o tempo anterior ao desencanto. Esse tempo em que uma rachadura na parede não é fim, mas começo – a fresta exata por onde a luz se derrama.
Nós, os “adultos”, perdemos essa geografia íntima entre o que é e o que pode vir a ser. Olhamos as manchetes como quem olha lápides, e esquecemos a criança que habita dois mundos ao mesmo tempo: o que existe e o que pode existir. Tantos povos já provaram que a cidade não precisa ser antônimo de floresta. Que entre o asfalto e a selva existe uma conversa possível, uma aliança que perdemos de vista mas que nunca deixou de existir.
Ao longo desses 10 anos de Festival Cine.Ema, tenho colecionado essas histórias. Gente que planta mesmo quando dizem que a terra morreu. Jovens que filmam não o fim do mundo, mas a obstinação dos começos. Comunidades que fazem do terreno baldio um jardim compartilhado. São gestos que me ensinam que a esperança não é sentimento, é prática. São pessoas que encontraram na ferida o lugar exato da cura. Que entenderam que as mesmas mãos que destroem são as que podem refazer. Que descobriram que viver a natureza não é fugir da cidade, mas encontrar (e fortalecer) a natureza que sempre esteve lá, esperando.
O cinema nos ensina isto: toda imagem pode revelar camadas invisíveis de vida. Através das telas, aprendemos a ver nossa própria realidade com outros olhos – mais atentos, mais esperançosos, mais regenerativos. Porque regenerar é verbo que só se conjuga no presente. É quando tudo parece perdido que a vida revela sua teimosia mais bonita: a de brotar justamente onde ninguém espera. Do concreto, da ruína, do que julgávamos morto para sempre. Não somos visitantes da natureza. Somos a própria natureza pensando sobre si mesma, sonhando com outros jeitos de existir.
Quem sabe a menina estivesse certa desde o início. Quem sabe as árvores realmente cresçam dentro dos prédios quando paramos de acreditar que isso é impossível. Que cada rua pode ser um mundo de biodiversidade, que junto caminha para o amanhã.
A história ainda está sendo escrita. E a caneta está na sua mão.

As soon as a user with a screen-reader enters your site, they immediately receive a prompt to enter the Screen-Reader Profile so they can browse and operate your site effectively. Screen-reader optimization: we run a background process that learns the website’s components from top to bottom, to ensure ongoing compliance even when updating the website. In this process, we provide screen-readers with meaningful data using the ARIA set of attributes. For example, we provide accurate form labels; descriptions for actionable icons (social media icons, search icons, cart icons, etc.); validation guidance for form inputs; element roles such as buttons, menus, modal dialogues (popups), and others. Additionally, the background process scans all the website’s images and provides an accurate and meaningful image-object-recognition-based description as an ALT (alternate text) tag for images that are not described. It will also extract texts that are embedded within the image, using an OCR (optical character recognition) technology. To turn on screen-reader adjustments at any time, users need only to press the Alt+1 keyboard combination. Screen-reader users also get automatic announcements to turn the Screen-reader mode on as soon as they enter the website.

Keyboard navigation optimization: The background process also adjusts the website’s HTML, and adds various behaviors using JavaScript code to make the website operable by the keyboard. This includes the ability to navigate the website using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys, operate dropdowns with the arrow keys, close them with Esc, trigger buttons and links using the Enter key, navigate between radio and checkbox elements using the arrow keys, and fill them in with the Spacebar or Enter key.Additionally, keyboard users will find quick-navigation and content-skip menus, available at any time by clicking Alt+1, or as the first elements of the site while navigating with the keyboard. The background process also handles triggered popups by moving the keyboard focus towards them as soon as they appear, and not allow the focus drift outside it.
Users can also use shortcuts such as “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F” (forms), “B” (buttons), and “G” (graphics) to jump to specific elements.
